The brief called for a low-impact, economical design which was temporarily house the performers of the Woodford Folk Festival.  Additionally, the site must be able to provide seasonal stays for holiday goers.  

 

Keeping with the traditions of the folk festival, the site provides small cabins which are easy to assemble (from scaffolding & canvas) and can be transported off the site if needed. 

 

Landscaping was also a significant factor in the design, and a series of small garden spaces are integrated into the site.
