Designed simply to provide shade, the Kidney Lawn Pavillion  is a small scale insertion to QUT.  The design consists of a simple steel frame with timber cladding.  Within each panel there is a small aperture which is designed to respond to light and movement.  During the day the apertures ensure suitable light and shade is provided, while at night the apertures fully open and are illuminated by a small LED globe.
